In the spiritual atmosphere of Eid al-Adha, the love and spirit of solidarity of Trabzonspor once again manifested itself in a meaningful social responsibility project. BordoMavi.Net members and philanthropists made an unforgettable visit to Trabzon Fatih Children's Home to share the joy of the holiday with the children.

Organized under the leadership of BordoMavi.Net Board Member Gökçe Emirzeoğlu and taking place on Tuesday, November 8th (the 3rd day of Eid al-Adha), the visit saw smiles on the children's faces that were priceless. What started as a simple initiative to buy "a jersey" grew exponentially into a massive act of kindness thanks to the overwhelming support of BordoMavi.Net members and philanthropists.

Children were delighted from A to Z.

Thanks to the tremendous support for the campaign, the children's holiday outfits and Trabzonspor products were prepared in full. The supplied items were carefully packaged according to the needs and genders of the children in the nursery.

  • For Boys: Each child received a V-neck jersey, a TS Club jersey and shorts set, a pair of sneakers, sweatpants, a pair of socks, a scarf, a beanie, and a backpack as gifts.

  • For Girls: Each girl received a V-neck jersey, sweatpants, scarf, beanie, and a satchel-style backpack as gifts.

Sports Equipment and Meaningful Gifts for Home

During the visit, four soccer balls and one volleyball were also delivered to the nursery to help children grow up surrounded by sports.

Also remembered was the Head of the Children's Home, who closely interacted with the BordoMavi.Net delegation throughout the event and shared in the children's joy. As a memento of the day, he was presented with a special 'Energy' jersey, scarf, beanie, backpack, and the book "Bize Her Yer Trabzon 2," an important work of Trabzonspor fan culture.

Gökçe Emirzeoğlu , a member of the BordoMavi.Net Board of Directors and one of the event organizers, emphasized the importance of solidarity and sharing in relation to this meaningful visit, stating the following:

“Eid al-Adha is a time when sharing, love, and brotherhood are experienced most intensely. We started this journey with just one jersey, hoping to bring joy to a child. However, with the tremendous support of our fellow supporters and generous friends, we have gained the strength to equip our children from head to toe. We extend our endless gratitude to everyone who contributed to enabling us to make a warm touch for our orphaned children with the love of Trabzonspor. The happiness in the children's eyes is the greatest proof of how right we are in what we are doing.”

The BordoMavi.Net family, exemplifying social solidarity, once again proved with this meaningful holiday visit how powerful a unifying element the love for Trabzonspor is, not only in the stands but in every aspect of social life, especially in helping others.
